‘Going where?’ I hear you understandably ask!
The context I’m meaning, is going there when it comes to experiencing our emotions.
The reason I’m speaking to this topic today, is because of the valuable resource my dear Soul Sister Alison shared with me recently which has been a game-changer for me in a good way.
Sarah Blondin has crafted a book (which I’ve been devouring in the audio vision, which has the added benefit of being narrated by Sarah) called Heart Minded. Basically, it’s a way to access how we feel via our hearts, rather than our logical minds.
It’s a tool to work on our emotional intelligence or emotional quotient (EQ) rather than our IQ – which for many of us has dominated our waking lives.
I don’t know if you can relate?…going there emotionally has been, and can be pretty daunting for me.
In the past, I’ve been well-practiced at experiencing emotions as effectively a roller coaster ride of highs and lows both inside and in my communications with others.
Learning to let myself feel what I’m feeling has often been something I’d have rather put off!
So if you’re intrigued, I really recommend that you check it out 1 because it could well be valuable for you, or someone you know.
After all – what do you have to lose?
See you on this week’s #AlivewithFi, and ciao for now 🙂
