I’ve found it valuable recently to review some notes from a website Consulting Success 1 which refer to a book ‘The Power of Focus’ which really gave me such a shot in the arm.
This was a book that was recommended to me by a coach that I was very fortunate to work with many moons ago. It was around 2007 when Gail helped me to realise that if I can learn to focus it would help me to create more of what I do desire in my life.
Eight main points are covered in the book summary I mentioned.
Here are my 3 top picks –
– Take a nap, especially for those of us who are up early. Around 25 mins works well, and for me it can supercharge my capacity – without a shadow of a doubt!
– Another is being consistent and persistent. This one works a bit like showering, we need to keep doing it daily for the desired effects! Daily walking (or biking or swimming) works well for me – how about you?
– Taking brief breaks (besides a nap!) is another valued staple for me – especially when I manage to pop outside to relish some fresh air.
I’m curious – have you ever read the book The Power of Focus?
Until I see you on this week’s #AlivewithFi – have a great one 🙂
