When it comes to setting ourselves up for success – here are my top action tips

1. Start where we are – which takes being honest and realistic rather than agonising over how we’d prefer things to be. This is where we are and from here we can build the foundation.

2. Find someone who’s done what you’re aiming to do – given that they’ve already gone through the motions to create the result that you’re after, they’re the ideal people to quiz, and ideally have them as your mentor.

This is what I’ve done and continue to do in several areas of my life, after all I see life as a work in progress, that I’ll always be learning and will never ‘arrive’.

A great example is of the fabulous dance teachers who Chris and I have the pleasure of working with currently. We’ve been covering off the Jive, Quickstep, Waltz, Cha-cha, Rumba, Tango and most recently Samba – we’re loving them all!

So, how about you – what have you found are your top tips for success? And in the meantime, here’s an invaluable reference 1 for you to check out.

Have a good one until I see you on this week’s #AlivewithFi 🙂 And feel free to message me with your thoughts, it’s always great to hear from you 🙂
