It’s time to share with you the experience of lovely Katherine, who’s been seeing me for some time now. Initially, I saw her to help with hip and low back pain, and while we successfully addressed that, Katherine’s story doesn’t end there.¹

In Katherine’s words – “What I really appreciate is that we focused not only on resolving my back and hip pain, but Fi also explained the root cause of the injury and how I can prevent and manage it in the future if needed. Fi furthered my understanding of how the body works together and how to recognise when my body is telling me to slow down.

Katherine puts it so well! And she truly took this approach to heart.

One of her challenges was that she had been repeatedly advised to take anti-inflammatories whenever she sought help. While there are certainly times when these are necessary—especially in acute or chronic situations—Katherine appreciated exploring alternatives that addressed the root cause of her pain. Together, we looked into various options to see what would work best for her, emphasising that pharmaceuticals aren’t always the only solution.
