So is Bali a safe place to be?
How safe a place is, is something I get to gauge very quickly when I’m travelling, because I can often be found walking in the mornings. And because I’m usually out and about for a couple of hours, I like to leave early which helps me avoid possible traffic – so the air I’m breathing is fresher. Plus, I get to relish the coolest time of the day before sunrise.
I find that people I meet are often more relaxed first thing, and there’s often a calmer feeling in the air – although of course that depends on the place.
Here in Bali, like any country – things change according to whether you’re in a village or the city. Around a beautiful artists’ village of Penestanan, it’s stunning…including in the mornings.
Although don’t take my word for it – check it out for yourself –
