Many of us are ready to tap into our inner genius. However, being keen to do this and actually taking action are two separate places we can find ourselves in.
First things first – what I mean by our smarty pants ability is listening to our intuition. And it’s one of the biggest boosts for me when I get to walk with a client who’s decided to take steps on their own inner wisdom journey.
Tapping into our smarty pants potential is about creating habits in our lives that are effective, measurable, and life-long.
It applies to any area in which we have potential – including our emotions, finances, relationships, and mental and physical well-being. Sometimes it can be easier to ignore our intuition, although in my own experience, if I do – it often pops up to bite me on the bum later down the track.
Whatever we might call it, it’s our compass. 1
Noticing our intuitive thoughts can help us figure out if what seems logical also matches up to what’s in our hearts so that we can gauge if we’re on track.
Here’s a tip for helping us tap into our smarty pants or intuition, so that we can calm down any inner or outside voices telling us otherwise. What I appreciate about this one is that it’s super simple.
Here it is…
Allow ourselves powerful quiet times.
How? Meditation or breathing can be ideal ways.
A word of caution. I mentioned this one is simple….it’s both simple to do, and also simple to not do!
I especially like the way that Dr Demartini puts this. He says we’ve mastered our life when the voices on the inside are louder and more compelling than the ones on the outside.
I’ll see you for this week’s #AliveWithFi, when we’ll explore this hot topic (and do send your questions through to me beforehand via email, or FB)
Until then, keep spreading your sunshine ☺
1 We all know that listening to our inner wisdom can be thought of as woo woo, although when we do opt to tune in we can realize that we’re “equipped with an intuition that is potent, trustworthy, and impeccably attuned to our true path.” While we all have different ways of tapping into our intuition, it can complement our reasoning as we navigate and pursue our goals.
