What if it’s true?

That we can feel and look like we’re 40 when we’re 75? (that’s not a typo).

Now I’m not 75, however I had a delightful experience a few years ago, when I saw a dear friend for the first time in 14 years (Bash knows me very well, we flatted together for 4 years during osteo college).

When he opened the door, his jaw dropped and he was speechless for several minutes. He said afterwards that he was shocked. Apparently I looked like I hadn’t changed in those 14 years.

And the thing was, he was regularly catching up with friends from our college days and they were looking their age, although I wasn’t.

I have my 49th birthday coming up this year, and whilst there are some wrinkles happening, the grey hairs aren’t.

So what is it that I do? Here are top 3 on my list –

  1. Enjoy more love makingas if we need an excuse.

So what’s the science?…

Results show that x3+ a week helps us to look younger – including by increasing our growth hormones.

Exercise – let me list the ways! This baby is linked to maintaining our telemeter length (they determine our longevity),

 Helps our human growth hormone

Maintains muscle mass to help us burn fat, improve our posture and keep our skin firm (including via collagen production)

Depending on the type – can reduce free radicals and help us sleep better

Improves our circulation of oxygen and nutrients to where they’re needed, whilst removing toxins

Yes, daily exercise of some kind (usually swimming, hiking or biking) is a must for me, and it has been since I was 11 when I decided to become a runner like my dad.

Since being knocked over by a car on a pedestrian crossing back in 2002, I switched from running to lower impact, and continue to enjoy the benefits.

  1. Antioxidants – these are our besties when it comes to neutralising the bad guys that speed up the aging process (free radicals).

I dabbled in taking multis and various vitamins and minerals since my teens, and didn’t see any value in it.

And then I began taking extremely high quality Nutritionals 14yrs ago, and I’m so pleased I did.

Take away – If you’re curious about specifics for how to help yourself with your own look + feel-young-solutions, message me.

Be great to hear from you 🙂
