This part of the month, our focus is on conscious living, and this time it’s all about learning to let go. 1

One thing I’ve come to realise is that the more I can stop repeating habits that don’t serve me—or others—the more I’m able to contribute positively to the world. For me, growing up, I developed a bit of a mega-controlling tendency. I don’t know if you can relate, but I often thought I was helping when, in reality, I was more likely interfering.

As a health coach, I’ve learned that there’s a fine line when it comes to offering help or advice, between meddling vs being of no assistance. The solution to this conundrum is simple: I always ask for permission before giving feedback or making suggestions. Questions like, ‘what are your thoughts on that?’ can open the door to a more supportive and less intrusive dialogue.

What’s your take on this – do you think learning to let go is relevant, or does it feel a bit too ‘airy-fairy’ to you? I’d love to hear your thoughts, and as always, it’s a highlight to connect with you.

Looking forward to seeing you on this week’s #AlivewithFi and until then, ciao for now 🙂
