I’ll be highlighting tips which we can apply to any area of life—whether it’s physical health, relationships, or financial well-being. And if you’re feeling keen, check out this useful tips-packed reference 1.
Here are my top 3 tips top for building momentum –
1. Get clear about your priorities – it’s not just about having a to-do list, though that’s a great start. A powerful key is to identify your top priorities for today, and even within the next hour.
What’s the most important task you need to focus on right now?
2. Create bites of time – once you’ve identified your priority, break it down into manageable chunks. If you have one main task for the day, consider how you can divide it into smaller steps. I find that working in half-hour increments works best for me. Our brains typically handle about 20 minutes of focused work before needing a short break, especially for challenging tasks.
3. Reduce or eliminate distractions: This is crucial for maintaining our momentum. We’ve talked about this before—whether it’s the classic phone notifications or other interruptions, minimising distractions can make a huge difference. Personally, I’m grateful I turned off my phone notifications.
How about you – which steps have you found are the most effective in staying consistent to reach momentum?
We’re all different, so I’m curious to hear what works best for you.
As always, I’m looking forward to seeing you on this week’s #AlivewithFi – have a great week 🙂
